The 2020 Ford Super Duty® Chassis Cab is more productive and versatile than ever, featuring an all-new available 7.3-liter V8 engine as well as a new 10-speed transmission. It now also features exciting available technologies including Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Audible Lane Departure Warning, new updates to Ford Telematics™ and Ford Data Services, and SYNC® 3.

Reducing body weight and making the frame eight times stiffer than before — together, these increase the payload in today’s generation of the Super Duty® Chassis Cab. And that’s a big reason why it reaches a BIC payload 12,750-lb. maximum payload rating.

Upfit bigger than any previous generation of the Ford Super Duty® Chassis Cab. Some of the weight savings from the high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body were reinvested into heavier-duty axle and front suspension components, resulting in a maximum front gross axle weight rating of 7,500 lbs.

Take the fully boxed under-cab and redesigned C-channel aft-of-cab frame built of 95% high-strength steel — plus the heftier components of the suspension, chassis and driveline. Now add the outstanding hauling and towing capabilities of this Super Duty and you’ve got an impressive gross combination weight rating — 40,000 pounds — one of the highest of any Class 3-5 chassis cab built today.
